Good fridge

So far, it’s been great having this refrigerator. It’s been a couple months and everything is working fine.

Junk

We’ve had this refrigerator for a year, and the ice maker is an absolute disaster. It freezes up nonstop, refuses to make ice, and when it does manage to spit out a few cubes, pulling out the tray triggers a full‑blown ice avalanche because it can’t even detect the tray is missing. For the price we paid, this is infuriating. I shouldn’t have to buy a separate ice maker because this overpriced hunk of junk can’t perform the one basic job it was designed to do. Total failure of a product.

Avoid at all costs

This was just thrown out after 3 years, 15 repairs and countless wasted food and time. Water parts break non stop. Freeze up and crack and what is sad is it’s a known issue and they still don’t do anything about it. Never buy a Samsung.

Defective cooling system ruined our food

This refrigerator failed at its most basic function: keeping food cold. From the day it was delivered, the cooling system was inadequate, and our food began spoiling almost immediately. We had to throw away a full refrigerator's worth of groceries because the unit simply could not maintain a safe temperature. For an appliance in this price range, a fundamental cooling failure right out of the box is unacceptable. We are still dealing with the fallout from this defective unit's replacement proces...

Use the water dispenser and auto fill pitcher constantly, great feature!

Stay away!

I would not purchase this fridge. My icemakers both went out within a year, and at 3 1/2 years my whole fridge stopped working. I will have to pay for a service tech to come out and they said it might not be covered. Go with a different brand.

Awesome-Ness!!

We have had our Samsung Refrigerator for almost 3 years now and love it!!! Every time I open the "water door", I smile because it is well designed and built and love the dual ice maker in the freezer area!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Think twice before buying Samsung appliances.

HORRIBLE fridge. Died after just two years. Do not buy this product. Samsung should not be in the appliance game and their warranty of 12 months sucks.

Bought this refrigerator a couple of years ago for the wide selection of swappable colors. Was sad to learn there are no longer unique colors such as yellow and green panels to purchase. In addition, as with all Samsung ice makers, the ice maker is junk. The tray cracked on from normal usage so water leaks and freezes the ice holder solid. You make think no issue, I will just order another tray. Unfortunately, as I am sure Samsung realizes, replacing their ice machines is an additional reven...

Ice cube tray.... Is it the beginning of the end? We spent a lot of money to have water just pouring into the ice cube container, not the tray!

No Panels!!!

This refrigerator has been standing in my kitchen for almost 2 years without any panels. I have checked the website over and over looking for availability of the colored panels I was promised when I purchased it. Now I find out all the colors have been discontinued with the exception of a limited few. What a scam. Horrible Ice maker

Ice Maker literally broke off in my hand when I went to reset it! Samsung Care only warranties their repairs for 30 days! Ice maker was repaired once and had the same problem maybe 6 months later! Now it’s gonna cost upwards of $500! Cheaper to buy a new fridge of another brand!

Worst appliance I’ve purchased along with the dw

The front lower part of the fridge (frame surrounding the 2 compartments) is so hot that you can’t touch it longer than 1-2 seconds for fear of burns. I’ve never experienced this before and consider it a safety hazard, particularly, with my younger grandchildren. It also impacts the ability of the freezer side to produce ice. I have to keep a cooler in the kitchen just to have any ice. Other dw I had kept breaking and I had to always wait on parts. Only 3 years old. I got rid of it and purchased...

Do not recommend

I’m confirming the other reviews talking about the ice maker going out. About 7 months after owning it, one of the section stopped freezing all together. Now 12 months into owning it the ice maker stopped making ice, the came out to fix and 3 days later the entire unite stopped working. Everything had to be thrown out.

terrible design of the ice maker the ice bits is practically useless just floods over with water builds up with ice and then breaks the train you have to buy a whole new unit to replace its ridiculous

Not great...

I got this in April 2022, it is now August 2025 and I found it can’t be fixed. Lots of lines, cooling zones, and complexity. A refrigeration line up in the fridge is leaking.

Great Features!!

Purchased in Nov 2024. The refrigerator is quiet and we love the beverage center. I added an extra in-line filter behind the fridge to remove more things like PFAS etc. and the water tastes great which is saying a lot since I really don't like plain water. The beverage pitcher is a fantastic feature that we use every day for cooking etc. Also with the Flex feature we made bottom right side a fridge for my daughter for easy access from her wheelchair.

a nice refrigerator, not designed for wear & tear

The refriogerator is great, but when doors get dents, it does not seem to have an easy option to replace them. Mine came with dents when I bought my condo and I have to live with them forever. Would have been nice to have the option to customize and change them. Other than that, I am fairly happy with it.
