Quietness

Definitely NOT quiet

Bought to replace a failing old Samsung Waterwall that was also rated at 38 decibels. That thing was so whisper quiet you often couldn't hear it standing right next to it? This thing? LOUD. Quiet operation was our main concern - and why we paid so much money for a dishwasher. Our kitchen is open to our living room so quiet operation was a must. This thing? Very Happy with our new dishwaser

Our new dishwasher is doing as expected, I will need to learn to load it better. I love it. One thing that someone could come up with is a quieter air gap. This is not the fault of the Dishwasher. I noticed with our last 2 drawer dishwasher we had an extender to the air gap by adding a additional hose line. I feel the additional length made the sound less noticeable.

Purchased to replace a Samsung WaterWall that just didn't last - 4 repairs in 7 years. Stuck with Samsung to ensure the new dishwasher matched the color of the rest of our Samsung appliances. I HIGHLY recommend this dishwasher!

I love this dishwasher! First of all, it is SO quiet! I have to strain my ears to make sure that it's even on. There are so many cleaning options (I prefer AI Mode). I also really like the drying option that opens the door at the end to let the dishes dry quicker. It holds a bunch of dishes (there are 3 racks!). I primarily purchased this dishwasher due to the sound level as my open floor plan Home didn’t need to be drowning in dishwasher noise. I like the stainless steel features of the inside after learning how to use the machine a little bit more and able to adjust the middle rack that’s been easier not learning. We love how well it cleans and so so quiet

Samsung is terrible

Do not buy any Samsung appliance especially a dishwasher. Within a year we would start then get code PC. Then try to restart and sometime it would work. Then we went to cutting power for 2 min. This worked sometime. I just ordered a Bosch and can't wait to get rid of this piece of junk Samsung. Really should be a class action suit against Samsung.

Samsung Customer Support is TERRIBLE!

We've had an ongoing issue with this dishwasher pretty much since it's been installed, but Samsung keeps telling us that it's working fine even though the water temperature never reaches even 100 degrees! As a result, we have soap residue on the dishes and glasses. We've had multiple service techs confirm that the water is not getting hot enough, and we also paid out of pocket to have a plumber come and verify that the water supply to the dishwasher is over 125 degrees. I love the 3rd rack, power washing, the quietness, and especially the fact that the door opens automatically after it finishes so it releases any built up moisture.
