What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the spray paint for excellent coverage, smooth application, and durable finish that lasts years without chipping. Most note a single coat suffices and applies evenly without drips, with an ergonomic nozzle that minimizes overspray. The satin nickel and oil-rubbed bronze finishes closely match existing fixtures, delivering authentic metallic effects on hardware, cabinet hinges, and bathroom fixtures. The included primer eliminates separate priming steps. A few experienced defective nozzles or found the finish too sparkly, but most consider the results well worth the investment.

Perfect Solution
Would RecommendI am remodeling a bathroom and changing the hardware from brass to brushed nickel. I was unable to find replacement hinges for my bathroom storage cabinet, so I used the Rust-Oleum Universal Satin Nickel Metallic Spray paint on the hinges and it worked great!

Nice metallic effect. Comfortable grip.
Would RecommendSprays nice and clean. Very comfortable grip with two finger placement. Safety clip on river that you can replace on the can if you don't use it all. Be sure to wipe the nozzle if you're saving the can. Plenty of smooth pressure, no sputtering. Nice wide vertical spray pattern. Metallic effect is spot on.
Use primer
Would RecommendThe paint covers well but from some reason even with multiple coats it scratches really easy.

Great Spray Paint!!
Would RecommendReally liked the way the can sprayed a wide spray. Honestly one coat would have been good, but went ahead and applied two. It does not really have a strong paint smell, which i liked. The metallic look is great.
Satin Metallic Spray Paint - Results as Expected
Would RecommendThis spray paint was chosen to cover an ugly cream and gold frame and create a more fresh, modern esthetic. The paint color and sheen are a silvery grey, with a true satin finish. There is a reflective glow, but neutral enough to blend into many decor styles. The less-than-perfect rating comes from my the application style. This 8x10 frame took 3/4 of a can (2 coats applied), and the nozzle only produces a flat fan-like spray, so accessing certain angles was difficult. The can was not productive...
looks nice but takes a few passes
Would RecommendI had some exposed PVC pipe that I painted for UV protection. The paint wasn't as opaque as I would have preferred. I had to go over it several times to get enough coverage and it still could have used a second coat. The can did spray well and I didn't have problems with runs. It just seemed a bit transparent until I went over it a few times.
Great product from a great brand
Would RecommendI have always found Rust-oleum products to be reliable and effective. This satin nickel spray paint is no different. The contents are packaged well and I like the ease of use with regard to the slide lock. The spray is even and it applies well. I tested on wood and metal and the wood obviously took a little extra to cover but no more than expected. This pack will go a long way.

My go to paint
Would RecommendI have never had an issue with Rust-oleum. I like the nozzle on this can as gives a great hold when spraying. There is also a safety trigger on the can instead of the traditional lid. It is simply slid up and down to lock the trigger. If you do not want it there it is relatively easy to remove. Paint formula still seems to be what you would expect. I am using it to paint a tool box my kids made in scouts.
Typical Rust-oleum product
Would RecommendI always prefer to use Rust-Oleum products. And this is another reason why. I ordered the wrong color footstool for our patio furniture, and I happen to have this stuff available. Less than one can and 2 light Coats. I covered the original blue color without a problem.
Excellent execution of paint, nice color.
Would RecommendThis paint sprays evenly with a fine mist thus avoiding drips from over spray. The color is more silver than nickel but looks very nice. It dries within 1 hour to the touch but I would wait 24 hours to handle as specified in the directions. The surface must be free of lint or it will amplify the imperfections. The odor requires outdoor ventilation but the smell is reduced after drying. The trigger spray nozzle makes it easy to use on the project front any angle.
