Worked Well!

I used this spray paint to refresh a weather-worn outdoor butterfly ornament; it worked very well and should last quite a while. I always purchase Rust-oleum products for these types of projects, and have never been disappointed. Thanks!

Used this on old door handles that were a brassy color now look brand new and updated, very easy too

not a top match

The lid of the rust-oleum metal in oil rubbed bronze gloss did not reflect the color of the paint. The lid looked like the paint would be a deep charcoal. However, the paint covered my old tired outdoor cast aluminum furniture wonderfully in a perfect oil rubbed bronze color with a little gloss. It looks better than new.

Total transformation

Used this paint to refresh exterior light fixtures. The difference is amazing and it was so easy to do. I'm looking for other items around the house to paint now!

This paint worked well for "reneweing" an older light fixture/chandelier to use in my kitchen. It adhered well to the gold paint surface of the fixture, and give it a new and seemingly manufacturer finish. I would recommend it for this application.

Do Not Take Internally

Covers well in one coat. Performs as advertised, maybe better. These are words from a self-proclaimed expert.

Excellent look for patio furniture and lights

I used this recently on three different surfaces (patio furniture, outdoor lights and a hose reel) and was thrilled with all the results. This is a VERY dark bronze (it almost looks black unless in the sunlight), but when put next to black it is definitely bronze. In the sun it has more sparkle to it. This provided a very classy look on some old metal patio chairs and a table that nearly matched out new patio furniture that cost thousands. Great for tying together old with new. excellent quality finish/ protection

Although the design allows spray at all angles, I haven't figured a way to clear the nozzle so it doesn't clog and dry before the next use... possibly months from now

Nice Finish

We repainted a towel/quilt rack because it came in an "antique gold" finish only. Ugly color but nice rack when it arrived. Roughed it up with sandpaper and repainted in the oil-rubbed bronze to match my bathroom. Came out beautiful and looks awesome!

Hands down the best paint for the job

So I started my project, refreshing our air vent grills with a quick coat of paint, with Krylon's oil rubbed bronze. Three coats of paint later, they still didn't look great: the paint had splattered in a couple of places, and the coverage wasn't very even or clean looking. They looked like a typical DIY disaster. Great Color and Look

I used this spray paint to paint bathroom cabinets RIGHT IN THE BATHROOM! I painted the doors outside but the cabinets were built in so I did not want to remove them for painting. Covered the floors and counter, tented an area around the cabinets and painted. Good product but color is a bit dark

Rustoleum makes good paint. It goes on good and is durable but their Oil-rubbed Bronze is very dark and almost looks black in lower lighting. I have switched over to Krylon Oil-Rubbed Bronze. It has a browner tint and looks more like oil-rubbed bronze once it is dry. It also dries much quicker. On the flip side, Krylon is more suspectible to krinkling than Rustoleum and does not hide specks like Rustoleum.
