Ratings & Reviews for Rubbermaid Brilliance Pantry Airtight Food Storage Container BPA-Free 7.8 Cup Ideal for Brown Sugar - Efficient Leak-Proof and Dishwasher-safe

i brought two different sets a few years ago. The work so well that I am replacing all other containers with these an just brought two more sets in August 2026.

Very sturdy, easy to use

I love this container! It’s very sturdy & easy to use! Lid seals very tightly and I use it for cereal and rice. Easy to clean. Overall recommend for dry foods!

Great containers

I love these storage containers. The containers and lids are top quality! They stack and store well. They do not stain or hold odors! They also come in a variety of sizes. These are the best containers on the market.

Super

These containers are very easy to handle; you can store many products in them. You can put them in the refrigerator or on the stove. They are made of a very good material because they won't break if dropped. The locks on the containers...For me they are very good, muy útiles y recomendables.

Glass Is the safest

I love the Rubbermaid glass food containers but only the 1.3 size. I specifically bought the galas rather than plastic which I will not buy. The glass are safe, durable and a perfect size. Unfortunately they aren’t available unless you buy and large pack which are made up of several large sizes. It’s a waste of money is ll you want is the1.3 size.

Have to replace them every six months

I do like how they don’t stain, but the bottoms are not very durable. I have ones that crack and break. The lids are very durable and hold up. They need to sell replacements for the bottom. I have a drawer full of lids and no bottoms pieces for the containers. I have to replace them every six months.

The Hidden Cost of Brilliance

The seal on these products are regrettably the first thing to fail. I recently spoke with an agent from Rubbermaid and was told the lids with these failing seals on such an expensive item cannot be purchased separately, especially the glass version. Replacing the entire container to get a new lid becomes rather expensive for a known failure.

Lids are awful

I thought I would love these containers since they stack well, are clear and leak proof. Unfortunately, I have bought quite a few and the lids are always cracking in the middle and there is no option to just purchase lids. I’ve wasted so much money on these and they only last a short time. The container has been fine but I have no lids for them anymore so I’m moving on to another brand.

Good for Air Sealed Coffee

I specifically purchased this particular container because I was looking for something that would hold my ground coffee and keep it airtight. I like to buy affordable coffee or coffee on clearance and mix them together to have a blend just for me to use for my hot and iced coffee. It cleaned so beautifully when I received it and it tried so well. I was able to mix three different types of coffee in which the seal is incredible. You can hear the seal on it and then just the handles on the side to...

Great Tupperware!

I enjoy buying these sets! They are very nice modern looking! They are very durable, I’ve been using these for over 4 years and if i break or misplace one I always replace it with the same! 10/10

Looks great work great

I like it came in different sizes, the weight is great because it looks like Cristal clear but isn’t… and the durability is also ok. I have been using them since more than a year and they looks like new… I only wash them with water and soap avoiding the dishwasher.

Keeps food fresh longer

These containers are very useful for storing food. They close tightly and keep everything fresh for a long time. I like that they are clear and easy to stack. Very convenient for everyday use. Highly recommend.

Great product!

I love these!! Are lightweight, airtight and attractive! I have been using them daily for well over a year. Two cracked- perhaps due to high dishwasher heat. I would love to replace them without the wasting the lids - which are still good. Please make separate pieces available for sale!

Terrible fit

I have many other containers, but the last two 4.7 cup containers do not fit the bottoms and lids. Have to use a screwdriver to pry the lid off thr container. Problem with size!!!

Excellent

I bought 2 sets of these for my pantry because I live in FL and hate bugs They are the best for dry products😎👌

Space saving and stackable

I've been using these storage containers for a couple years now and they do not stain. I have some in glass and some plastic. The lids are all plastic and fit both materials. The seal is excellent and I can marinate food and flip it over without liquid spilling. They stack neatly in the fridge and the rectangular shape helps avoid wasted space. The lids click lock and have vent holes for heating without removal. This can be good, but also bad. The lid sits inside the rim of the container and yo...

Convenient, fresh food, good storage

I have three of these for my breakfast cereals and they are amazing! The keep the cereal fresh and holds almost a whole box. It has saved me money by keeping food fresh and crisp to eat.

Love these containers for my dry storage!

I use these Rubbermaid Brilliance storage containers for all my dry ingredients. I'm an amateur home baker and I bake a lot of bread. I also live in a humid climate. I love knowing that my ingredients are going to stay dry and fresh after I open them for a long time! They even stack wonderfully for easy storage. If you bake a lot and always have open paper bags of flour that get flour everywhere, it's time to upgrade to these!
