Simple install
Would RecommendThis product is easier to install than I thought. The material does make you cough without a mask but doesn't make you itch. We started off tearing pieces instead of cutting but that creates more dust so don't do that.

Much better than fiberglass or blow in insulation
Would RecommendFor the same thickness as fiberglass it gives you more R-Value than fiberglass. The rockwool is much more dense and has a better insulating values and sound reduction. Installing the rockwool in wall or ceiling cavities is very easy when following the recommended compression guidelines. This product works really well when joists and studs are not spaced equally you can cut and fit it to spaces very quickly. This material cuts easily with a bread knife. There is no itching form this material as y...

Delivered Wrong Item
Would Not RecommendWe paid for and were supposed to get the Rockwool batts that fit between 24 in on center rafters. They delivered the batts that fit 16 in on center. When I tried to get them to come pick up the wrong ones and deliver the right ones, they said the 24 in batts were unavailable in R-23 and they didn't know when they would be available. We are now in insulation limbo. We need the delivered items removed but also need the items we paid for to put in.

Rockwool
Would RecommendThe product is fantastic, easy to install, doesn't make you super itchy. My house is both warmer and QUIETER than I would ever have thought possible. My only issue is the Lowes calculator, it had me order way too much product. So keep that in mind when you order.

Incredible Insulation
Would RecommendWe installed R23 Comfortbatt in exterior walls, R24 in our I-Joist floor platform, and R38 plus a layer of R15 in the attic of our new construction owner-built house. What a huge difference it made in thermal comfort of the house, even before the vapor control layer and drywall was in. Love the resistance to fire, water, mold, insects, etc. and our DIY install was easy!

Easy Installation and Very Quiet
Would RecommendI used the Rockwool R38 and R15 Comfortbatt in my garage build. I did a flash and bat method with 2" of spray foam and then the R15 Comfortbatt on the walls. Installation was easy and boy does it help knock the sound down. What a fantastic product!

Great for sound proofing as well as insulation
Would RecommendVery easy to work with. I used it for sound proofing and insulation in my music studio and again as acoustic treatment inside the room to reduce flutter echo and standing waves. It holds it shape very well and has a greatly reduce "itch factor" compared to fiberglass insulation.

Very Good Product
I installed about 650 square feet of insulation in my attic and was plesantly suprised with the ease of installation of the ROCKWOOL Comfortbatt (R-15) material. I placed Comfortbatts in between the ceil joists (full dimesional 2x4 on 16 centers). I then placed rolled R-30 Fiberglass, perpendicular to the joist direction. The Comfortbatt did not generate the dust and fibers that I found were generated with the fiberglass batt installation. The ROCKWOOL material came in easy to manage packag...

Comfort Batt
Once I started demolition I noticed the old insulation and it was wasn’t up to standard. I used the ROCKWOOL Comfort Batt insulation to bring the kitchen up to the building code. Easy to use and the home already feels better.

Best Insulation
I have used Rockwood in my exterior walls, interior walls, floor joists and most recently in the walls of my campervan. It is easy to work with, excellent for sound proofing, provides better fire protection and does not saturate with moisture. Best Insulation product for people who want the best Insulation with few trade offs.

Basement rim joist insulation
Worked on removing and replacing the orig. fiberglass batt insulation in the basement. I chose the Rockwool Comfortbatt R15 batt since it appear to be a better product than replacing with new fiberglass batts. I think the Rockwool product was sightly more expansive, but I found it easy to work with. We'll see how good are the energy savings over time.

Rockwool rocks!
First time using Rockwool in our renovated home. As soon as we put it in the house was quieter and instantly warmer. We are now at the drywall stage and are only using two small electric portable heaters and the house is T-shirt warm! I can imagine how warm it will be once we turn the furnace on and how much money we will save in heating bills! The Rockwool Comfortbatt product is so easy to use and went up so quickly. We had one whole floor done in two days with just two of us doing the work. Wi...
