Rockwool insulation gets r done!

We bought the rockwool insulation for 2x4 walls and installed in our cabin , we especially like the ease of installation it cut easily with a serrated knife and they fit snugly in between the 16 inch on Center walls perfectly, some of the bats were a little inconsistent regarding firmness and consistency, overall was pleased with the product. Cons: I thought they were a little pricey, I would recommend this product.

Product damaged when delivered

It's insulation and it still works just fine, but the bag was ripped open in several places and someone had hastily wrapped some plastic around to try to hold it together. Really not the experience I was hoping for from Lowes.

Premium product that was easy to work with

I used this Rockwool insulation in my garage project and have been very happy with it. It was easy to cut to size with a utility knife and fit snugly between the studs without sagging or falling out. The material is much more rigid than fiberglass, which made installation straightforward, even when working alone.

Rockwool is great but price is kind of high.

Very good insulation. It holds the sound down to the bare minimum. It’s fire resistant and easy to install.

This is a more natural material to the fiberglass options which was a big plus. The material does not cause the itchiness of fiberglass insulation, but still wear a mask as it is dusty and causes coughing or sneezing when inhaled. It is also nice and firm to get a good friction fit in the wall and ceiling cavities. Superior to typical insulation

Liked the mold and water resistance. Had better r-value than other insulation types. Plus the sound insulation was a nice bonus.

I thought that the Rock Wool was very easy to work with and caused no discomfort like fiberglass does
