Ratings & Reviews for RITESCREEN Window Screen 36-in x 36-in White Aluminum Frame Window Screen

Complete kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a house that was missing some window screens and we never got around to getting screens made because it seemed expensive and kind of low on the priority list. I didn’t realize DIY window screen kits were even a thing, but they are and they are amazingly convenient. The kit comes with everything you need to build a complete window screen, from the frame to the screen and spline. Everything is precut and ready to assemble. It’s rema...

Great screen kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the simplicity of installation for the screen kit.the material is very well made and very functional.

Not an easy DIY, but beats the alternative

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things first, this is not an easy project. Especially with an old door that might not exactly be perfect anymore. However, it does beat the alternatives which are buying all the parts separately or buying a whole new screen already assembled (very expensive). I'm glad I dont have another screen that needs fixing. If I do, I will consider the more expensive options and depending on my budget possibly purchase this again.

Screen repair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this kit to repair a couple windows that my sons dog has jumped through a couple times it worked seamlessly and efficiently.

Great Idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to build the frame and very easy to install the the screen. The directions became unclear when installing the pull tabs and tension clips. It would be nice if they could make the direction clearer during this stage of the process.

Easier than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little hesitant at first but this window screen was so easy to install after reading the instructions! You just have to read carefully because the frames bend a little easy if you're too rough with them, but other than that this was a breeze! It was a great replacement for what I had prior. Will buy in the future!

Easy to use!

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so leery of trying to do this myself. I have never worked with screens before. But I really need to replace one in my sunroom. I was able to do this completely on my own. It took me less than an hour. And it looks and fits great. I am pretty proud of my self. And would recommend this for sure!

Nice little kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this out on the screens for my pickup canopy which have been abused a bit with the stuff I've had in my truck. Although this is designed for house screens, it worked perfectly on my screens in my canopy.

Perfect for my fixer upper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was perfect for a window we had in our home that had a broken/dented/irreparable screen. Now, granted my husband did most of the work, I feel as though I could have easily handled this project on my own. Supply your own repair tool, tape measure and saw to cut frame. Measure twice and cut once! We got thr bronze kit, matched our existing frames perfectly. Project took probably about 2 hours in total (with some "help" from the little ones. ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] RiteFit by RiteScreen - DIY Window Screen Kits worked very well to replace an old screen and frame for one of my windows. They are really rleasy to put together and they work well. This is a really affordable way to update your screen frames for your windows. They come in all different sizes so finding a correct size should be easy. This worked perfectly, was easy to install and set up and prep was minimal. The quality of the frame seems very g...

Easy to master

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The learning curve is quick and once you get the hang of it, you can knock out a screen in no time. I have a bunch of windows that don't have screens and I hate bugs getting in the house when we leave them open, so this screen kit was excellent. I have a very old house and it seems like no 2 windows are exactly the same, so this kit made things easy to create custom sizes.

Great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is what I needed. This screen worked wonderfully for my needs. Perfect product for replacing window screens. These were an equal replacement to what i had. My cat tore holes in 2 screens on my windows. This fixed it. Such great quality. Also thick enough that it dose not rip easy when installing. Easy to install, very useful. Easy to work with and cut with utility knife. Panel was a direct fit and installed easily. Very nice material...

Sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a short term rental home And somehow the main screen door always seems to get a rip or a hole in it. This kit has been great for us to quickly repair & the material is strong and so far has held up well to the elements as well as high people traffic. Easy to use and great overall.
