Crappy two by fours at Lowe’s, and these were kill
2 x 4 studs are really ratty, almost looks like they are all rejects. Definitely not the prime wood. It looks like most of them are from the outside of the tree with rounded edges, and someone should sharpen the saw. They used to cut the wood at the mill because the cut is really bad.
