Pre-painted, Lightweight, Cost Effective

We used this crown moulding as cove on our bead board and batten tray ceiling. The crown moulding was flexible enough to cover irregularities in the walls, and lighter than MDF crown that we were considering, ( it was also half the price). It was also pre-painted, which made it nice on the ceiling.

Primer paint runs and dried drips on the back

Good crown molding. Pre-primed was a definite advantage. The only issue I had was runs and dried drips on the back of the trim where it fits against the wall and ceiling. I had to trim the dried paint off with a razor knife so it would fit.

Durable, looks great, cuts and copes well, easy to handle and use, paints well

Builder pack

Finger jointed wood, solid, stable, very little warp, and primed for paint. The only negative is that the primer is very thick on the edges causing boards to be slightly different sizes, and the primer can chip off on the corners. High gloss paint needs 3 coats to be completely uniform, semi gloss should be fine at 2 coats.

Great contractors bundle the price has increased but the quality is pretty good, finger-jointed, primed great profile.

Inventory was quality. Not many damaged boards. All joints were tight and not visible.
