My bedroom door handles were all old and they had the chome pealing off and they were installed in the 1970’s. Almost 50 years. The only issue they were not made with the same housing. So i had to chisel out the part of the door so the new mechanism could be secured with the screws provided. All went well and replaced 6 doors. All working smooth and looking good.👍
