I bought this for my sheds door. It looks like I'm going to need another one or maybe a different one.

Great Latch Bolt

We used this barrel bolt on a door to our chicken pen. It mounts firmly with the included screws and latches easily. The key is lining up the two pieces so the bar goes into the other piece smoothly and not at a slight angle. A small torpedo level comes in handy for this. Measure twice, screw once. Being zinc coated, it should last through the weather well.
