What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these self-closing hinges for straightforward installation, reliable spring action, and discreet brushed bronze design. Many highlight seamless replacement fit, adjustable closing tension for different door weights, and strong performance preventing doors left open by pets or children. Reviewers consistently note the compact design outperforms bulky external closers. A few report the tension-setting pin occasionally slides out or find the Allen wrench too short, and some note the barrel is slightly thicker than standard hinges. Despite these minor isolated issues, most customers consider them highly effective and durable.

Helped with a repair needed to sell house
Would RecommendI bought this product to help close my door to the garage. It worked ok but the door is a little stuck now as the hinge is a little bigger than my orginal hinge.

Feeling "froggy" about this Spring Door Hinge!
Would RecommendA solid, reliable hinge that does exactly what I needed. I installed the 4‑in H x 5/8‑in Radius Satin Nickel Spring Interior Door Hinge about two weeks ago, and the process couldn’t have been easier — the fit was perfect, the finish looks great, and adjusting the tension took only a few minutes. Since adding it, my door now closes smoothly on its own, which keeps all that cool air from escaping. Simple, effective, and absolutely worth it.

Excellent spring hinge
Would RecommendThis hinge had excellent reviews, so I bought two of them for my bedroom door. I installed one of them on the door, then tightened up the spring. It works perfectly with one spring hinge, so I will return the other hinge to the store. The only issue I had was that the spring hinge was a little thicker than the previously installed hinge, resulting in the door not shutting all the way after I installed it. I chiseled out a little bit of wood from the door frame using a hammer and a flat head ...
Bad instructions, works good
Would RecommendThe directions were kind of lacking, but these things work great. Keep those little chitlins from leaving the door open.

Appointment canceled by installer
Would RecommendThe person that was to remove and install our new dishwasher canceled after waiting several hours and never received a call until my wife called Lowe's and was told the installer had an emergency and they are coming early tomorrow morning and install it.
