Yes, need Hasp for a chicken coop. Yes, they are great and fit the bill, but I did have a hard time finding them.

Hasps were good for my application

I bought two of these hasps to help a compost bin cover in the closed position. So far they have worked well with the hinges under 40+ mph winds.
