Would RecommendI needed to extend the with of a 4 inch soffit board and used this pine molding to increase the width. A little wood glue and some galvanized nails solved the problem

Would RecommendI ended up using this moulding a large shim for an uneven door frame (a retro-fit on a very old home) while installing a storm door. It did just the trick.
