What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this door chain for enhancing home security and keeping children and pets safely contained. Most highlight its straightforward installation, taking only minutes to set up, and appreciate its affordable price point. The chain itself is described as sturdy and reliable. However, some report durability issues with the wall-mounted connector breaking under pressure and screws stripping easily. Despite these hardware concerns, the majority consider it an effective, budget-friendly safety solution that delivers strong value for families prioritizing child and pet protection.

Too cheap to work

Product Review
This chain guard works great for its intended purpose and is functional as advertised. However, I’ve noticed an issue when unlocking the chain—it tends to bounce back and hit the wall, causing minor damage. Adding a rubber tip to the chain guard would prevent this and make it even better. Overall, it serves its purpose effectively, but be cautious about potential wall damage if used as-is.
