Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the straightforward installation, requiring no digging or concrete, and appreciate the sturdy galvanized metal construction with a professional appearance. However, many report a loose joint between the two post sections that screws alone fail to stabilize, often requiring DIY reinforcement like tape or brackets. Despite this flaw, most reviewers find the design superior to traditional methods and would repurchase. A few encountered missing parts or damaged components, but these represent minimal feedback overall.

Would RecommendThis worked great, we ended up having to dig out some older concrete/rocks from the previous mailbox, then use quick dry concrete to hold it in place. I would suggest a board or something on top of the plastic piece to mallet the post down if you don't have soft ground to dig it in. We couldn't get it all the way down into the ground with just hammering the post down, but we also didn't want to move our mailbox spot.

This post is great. We are using it to support a shared “library” box which is about 35 pounds. I had to add additional support brackets on the back. It went into the ground very easily!

Terrible Design
Would Not RecommendThis is a terrible design. Where the post connects there are two small screws that hold it together. We had this post for just over a year and with the repeated use of the mailbox the screws on the post will not hold. So now the post flops back and forth and will not stand up straight. We tried to return it to Lowe’s and exchange it for a wooden one but since it had been over a year the manager would not exchange it.

Takes some fiddling to match holes to the mailbox
Generally, I like this product because it is easy to install, at least in the soil where I set it up. Years ago, I bought and installed an earlier version of this post, which has worked out pretty well. After many years, it had rusted through on one side near the ground line, but it was still solid. The newer version is built better. I also liked the height adjustment platform for the mailbox, which allowed me to pound the post into the ground to an approximate depth and then fine-tune the heigh...

Poor Designed 45° Support
The clamp for the 60mm post is poorly welded to the 45° square tube arm supporting the mailbox. Once it rusts, it fails at the weld. All it takes is one too many male deliveries. I considered rewelding, but the metal is too deteriorated. Avoid

Bought this for my yard and it worked exactly as needed. Installation was straightforward, and once it was in the ground it felt very secure. The metal is thick and sturdy, not flimsy like some others I've tried. It's been

Rocks back and forth at joint.
Very weak joint between the top half and bottom half of the post. Allows the top half to rock back and forth when you open and close the mailbox. I had to weld the joint together for the extreme movement at joint after one year.
