I bought the tomato slicer as a gift to myself a couple years ago. I recommend this to everyone after I used it for the 1st time. No more smashed tomatoes! I can slice a really ripe tomato into very thin slices without any problems. I do follow the recommendation to hand-wash and put it back in it's sleeve after it's dry. Honestly RADA knives are my very favorite. I received my first set of these knives from my mother-in-law as a wedding gift in 1970. They still are in use today. You never have ...
