The knife sharpener is terrible. The gift set is fine. Have not used the bigger knife just the small one. Would love to send the knife sharpener back for credit or a refund. I would like to purchase a good set of knives that do not need sharpening every time.

Best I've used!
I bought the set as I'm cooking more and more (barely a novice at it but trying) and needed some good knifes. These knifes are very sharp and feel great in my hand, weight is really good for the smaller knife but the utility knife will take some getting used to. That knife (utility) is handle heavy so using it is awkward (thus the get used to it comment). The smaller knife is amazing! I used it to cut up vegetables and it was like going through butter.
