I’m admittedly a bit of a perfectionist when I paint things around my house. I hate brush marks. I bought this soft-bristled brush to freshen up some baseboards, door frames and doors around the house. This brush and a good quality paint will provide professional type results in a smooth finish with few to no brush marks. It loads paint nicely and the angled tip along with a steady hand and patience gives the control to reduce or eliminate the need for taping. Extremely happy with the results.

Would RecommendI was assisted by a very nice man at Lowe's who knew a lot about painting. I explained my project to him and he directed me to the best tools for the job. My front door came out beautifully because I used the correct tools to do the job.

Great quality brush for shellac primers
Would RecommendNecessary to use this type of brush for shellac primer. Brush worked great. Fairly easy to clean water based product after too. A couple of bristles came off into the surface I was working on but it was to be expected as I kept hitting the brush on the edge of the pint sized paint can by mistake. Great quality and smooth finish.

Superior paint brush
This brush applied the paint so smoothly and evenly that I just kept going and never switched to a roller. When I had finished the room I had used less than 1/2 the paint the job used the last time I painted that room. Job done faster, less mess and much better results.
Disappointed in Purdy
I have used it twice, both times two of the bristles came out. I thought Purdy was a top of the line brush. I paid top price for it, very disappointed. Not worth the money.
