Would RecommendThere are many better ways for sawhorses and look at Lowes to find them. I have two steel folding sets that don't take up much room and are very strong. These are for my trip to the Philippines where I am building a house. So they need to pack in a suitcase. Most of the wood there is coco trees cut with a chainsaw. Would RecommendThe metal is a bit on the thin side and the legs don’t really open wide enough to be very stable. A very nice plus is that you can make them as long as you want. I cut an 8’ 2x4 in half to make 2 sawhorses that are each 4’ long. At 4’ they are sufficiently long, and sturdy enough, for a pair of sawhorses to hold 7 - 2x6x12’ tongue and groove pine boards for me to stain, with a bit of room between each one.
