What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the saw for delivering clean, accurate cuts on ceramic, glass, porcelain, and large tiles, making it ideal for DIY projects and beginners. Many highlight exceptional value for occasional home use, noting its lightweight, portable design and easy assembly. However, significant concerns emerge around durability—reviewers report rusting after minimal use, flimsy plastic components, and misaligned guides requiring manual adjustment for each cut. Some experience inconsistent accuracy and chipped edges. Despite these drawbacks, most find it functional and worthwhile for light-duty projects, though a few consider it inadequate.

Would RecommendThis was a good saw for the price. I used it for cutting 3X6 glass tiles. I did not try the blade that came with the saw since it wasn’t really the best choice for cutting glass. Cutting was pretty slow going as you would expect from an economy saw. It was adequate and contained the water spray to a minimum. Much better than the last saw I used, which was a Bosch and at twice the price.

not what I was expecting
Would Not Recommendmy first Kobalt was Great! but the switch broke after 6 years heavy use. I was inn the middle of a job and needed the replacement. I was expecting the same quality but am very disappointed!! This model is the same price range, but mostly PLASTIC!!! totally inferior product. Have not used it, will repackage it and return to Lowes. Possably get the next model up----oh, ONE THING I thought was an improvement, the carrying handle attached to it---- NO STARS from a setter w/ 55 ye3ars experience !!
Can't Go Wrong!
Would RecommendI wanted to buy a tile saw for a backsplash project. Like some others, I was a little hesitant to buy this one based on some of the reviews I read. However, I am so glad I decided to buy it. It is perfect for this type of project and there is no reason to buy anything bigger. The tile I was cutting was 2.5"x8" and 1/4" thick. I used the blade that came in the box and was impressed right away. There are measurements on both the front and back of the table to ensure your guide is square with the b...
Fence is basically useless.
The Fence was basically useless unless you wanted to spend 5 min to move it each time. Its made out of plastic and is hard to slide, even after silicon lube, and you have to use a square to square it up because it is definitely not self squaring. The saw it self is pretty good, like the 7in size, the 45 mitre system seems pretty good although i did not use it, it seemed well thought out.
