What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to have mixed reviews. Some customers found it to be a good value and easy to install, but the majority expressed significant concerns about the quality and durability. Many reported issues with the cheap, flimsy plastic construction, such as the lid being difficult to close or blowing off in windy conditions. Overall, the consensus is that this is a low-quality, inexpensive product that may not withstand outdoor use very well, and customers recommended looking for a more durable alternative.

Appears to have been a defective return.
Would Not RecommendPart was broken. In all likelihood, product had been returned defective & returned to shelf.

Waste of money
Would Not RecommendMade of cheap plastic. The tab to “snap” it closed was broken off upon opening the box. Even if it wasn’t broken, a mild wind would flip the lid off of this. I had to caulk it shut, so every time the bulb goes bad, I’ll have to reseal the top. If Lowe’s was closer, I would have returned it. Never will I buy anything from Harbor Breeze again. I know it’s only $45, but I expected much more.
Plastic material construction is very cheap
Would Not RecommendA year has gone by and the white gets very dull

Overpriced thin plastic
Would Not RecommendWould be ok if it was only $10, but for $50 it is overpriced. I purchased to finish a holiday decoration and it will do the job. The entire assembly glows with the light due to all thin plastic.
Today plastic, not sure about tomorrow
Would Not RecommendGlad the product exist. Not pleased to pay $44 for plastic. There was only one option available. Should have searched on-line first. Three stars for having one in stock.

Was a little disappointed to find out this product is made of plastic. The top was a little bit difficult to snap in but it works ok once you fig out how it works. Installation was rather easy. I’m a bit concerned with the durability but we will see. Other than that it was ok. Hope it can withstand the hot Floroda sun. We’ll see. .
