Would Not RecommendBest looking stair nose but difficult to install in a way that looks good with the natural wood finish. Be prepared to put a lot of work into covering up the screw holes necessary to adhere it to the floor securely.

Maybe that would have created the seamless look that I was after. The transitions are made from cheap cardboard type wood - or that is what it feels like.
