Would Not Recommend6-inch, like a 4 or 9, is a standard paint roller width. This tray is specified as a 6-inch tray, but this is the overall width - what a shame in the description. The effective width is 5inches max, so only usable for the smallest mini-roller of 4-inches wide. Very dissapointed about the missleading description and I ordered online and have to go now back to the store to return.
