Poor work gloves

After less than one hour of working with concrete block the right hand glove ripped open between the thumb and forefinger.

Didn't last

Within 5 times of using them, one of the fingers started getting a hole in it. I have only used them while using tools like a shovel, rake and week eater, so nothing that would have been hard on them.

Tears

After one day of light gardening, there was a tear in webbing between the index finger and thumb on the right. They’re too expensive to tear hours after purchase.

Gloves

They’re work gloves. They perform as expected. My second pair. Velcro strap works well.

Good quality and comfortable

I bought this pair of Blue Hawk gloves for my husband, it fits him very well, and the quality is really good. My husband likes to wear it and working in the yard, cutting trees, dig holes, etc.

terrible gloves

Had theae glove for about 2 hours of work moving some firewood and a bit of chopping firewood and they were destroyed. Wore through 3 finger tips and both areas between thumb and first finger. Terrible gloves, taking them back hopefully Lowes will let me return for a more quality pair.

Great Gloves for All Kinds of Work

I have used these gloves to work with sheet metal and various types of wood for the last 1.5 years. I use them 2-3 days a week and I run a CNC and a metal folding machine with them. Poor Choice

I bought two pair of the Blue Hawk gloves, size large. After a few hours of moderate yard work I found a tear in the material at the seam of the wristband. Upon closer inspection I found the construction of the wristband stitching to the glove just looked and felt cheaply made. Returned both pair the next day.

Worst glove ever

I have had these gloves for about 2 weeks. I use them to work around the yard, they have already torn in several places where the polyester meets the leather. I bought a 3 pack of another brand payed less than this one pair and they lasted me for at least 2 years.

Junk and poor COVID return policy

I've been buying these gloves for years and usually get about 3-6 months of use from them before the fingers rip out. We did a shopping trip early on to avoid risk of COVID. The pair of gloves we bought on March 20 fell apart within 1 hour of use. The leather was clearly flawed and they ripped in odd places where other pairs have never ripped before. Good for the price

These are the next level above the basic ones. They have velcro, fit tighter and have neon colors, so this is what you are paying for. So far so good.

I've been using these gloves for yard work. They are very comfortable and sturdy. I like the Velcro on the wrists too as they keep debris out.
