Would RecommendI bought this to replace a lamp socket made in the early 1960s. I was underwhelmed by the quality compared to the 1960s socket. The threads on the new unit to reassemble the upper and lower half were nearly there and were TOO easy to cross thread. However, I think this socket is on par with similar sockets made in the 21st century.
