Perfect Replacement

I wanted to swag a hanging ceiling fixture over 21 inches. This required adding more chain and a re-wire. I was in trouble as the socket had the wires riveted in the original socket. I needed a new socket and this was the perfect replacement. Two reviews mention stripped screws. I checked it in the parking lot to make sure these were OK. Hard to keep wires separate

It's difficult to get the wires where they go without them touching. I used sleeves and still had to snip them.

Inexpensive fix for an expensive fixture

I purchased an expensive sconce lamp and when changing a lightbulb a bracket holding the bulb socket broke. This part had an improved socket support and fit the lamp perfectly. By repairing it I saved $125

Would not buy again

When I tried to install it I found that the positive screw on the socket was stripped. Total junk.

Works, kind of

I made this work, but on a part that's pretty low-cost to begin with, it's a pretty sad case of cost reduction and bad QA. First, I had to search the rack for one that didn't have significantly chipped threads. Then when starting the installation, I found that the hot screw on the socket was stripped from the factory. It didn't really matter in the end, because I don't know what kind of wire they imagined these tiny round-shouldered screws would clamp, but they sure won't do typical 16 AWG lamp ...

Great Light Bulb Socket Replacement

We needed to repair a damaged light bulb socket in our ceiling fan. I couldn’t find a duplicate socket, but one of the employees was able to show me how to use this socket to replace the damaged one. The replacement effort went well. Very solid light bulb socket.

Nice little kit

Handy kit for lamp repair. As for instructions....this is a part and as a Master Electrician...if you need instructions, you need an electrician.
