I needed boards for pantry shelves. These work great for that application. I cut them into individual shelves about 22 inches long. I would never use particle boards like these for shelves over 30 inches. They sag to much to easily.

Right size / Terrible Store Stocking location

It was the exact length and width for my project, Library Wall. The location and placement in the store is horrible. The length is 8’ x 11 3/4” and is on a shelf that is 4’ (48”) off the gtound. You have to lift it up and over a lip before lowering it the ground. An accudent waiting to happen.

Better to pick these out yourself

I purchased these on line as my local Loew's did not have them. I arrived at Loew's in another town and received my order. I ordered everything together rather than pick up independently. I should have went there and pick out my order myself. When you have an order placed on line, you get what the pick will be by someone else. I was not please 100% of the order. That being said you get what you get and unless you want to return the order and get a credit then go pick it yourself it seems t...

Shelving

Decided to take on a long awaited project, building an entertainment center for my basement. was looking for sturdy shelves that would not break the bank. Lowes had the answer with thermally fused laminate planks. These fit the bill, were just what I need, in stock and affordable. Cut to size easily also.

I HIGHLY recommend you do NOT shop online/ pick up in person for this product!! One shelf was perfect! Thee other shelf on the bottom of my cart - when flipped over - was disgraceful!!!

As good as a Pine board

This shelf is more than adequate for most shelving needs. It is sturdy, solid, and is not even close to being warped or bowed like most of the pine boards that might be used as alternatives. And it's much less money. It comes primed and ready for a coat of paint - or just use it as-is. I'm not really sure why it is 97" long instead of the standard 96" - but, oh well. I'm about to buy another dozen of these for my shelving needs.

Quality particle board

I was against using this stuff to build bookshelves with...I wanted to use solid wood boards. But my wife figured this would be faster...no painting, it is durable, and after putting edge banding on the exposed end (my 10 year old sons first ironing experience!), it truly looks great. We have lots of ClosetMaid adjustable shelf brackets and the wall standards throughout our house, so we stuck with that to mount these boards on the wall. It cut well, but this stuff will “chip out” worse than so...

Wall mounted shelving

Needed a shelf to place hats and sweaters on. This shelf was the exact fit with no cutting and easy to install screws without drilling any holes.
