Light flickers

I replaced 2 ceiling lights at the same time. Within a year one of the lights started to flicker. I read the reviews and others have reported the same issue. It's a shame , they mount securely to the ceiling unlike a different brand that I tried.

things you dont think of until 5 years later

I was told about these 6 years ago by my electrician. He said the same as I've seen in other reviews - "it's so great you dont have to change bulbs anymore!". That sounded good 6 years ago. Now as the bulbs go out one by one in my apartments, instead of the tenant just changing the bulb themselves, they call me and I have to make a trip there to rewire a complete new light for $17 each (instead of a $2 bulb). Terrible design, no safe way to install

Specs claim that the fixture is designed to be installed onto a standard junction box. But with a standard octagonal metal ceiling box there is no way to do so safely. The wires emerge from the back of the fixture at exactly the place where the fixture would press against the edge of the box. Box would slice into the insulation and short the wires.

These light shades for the ceilings are to small and flush on the ceiling. I opened it and looked at one shade and taped the box back up. I will be returning them soon.
