What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the tarp's reliable weatherproof coverage for roofs, pools, and construction sites, with many highlighting its large size as a major advantage for full coverage without multiple pieces. Most find it effective and durable enough for short- to medium-term use. However, several report the material thins, shreds, or splits after months of sun exposure, and many express frustration with poorly installed or easily torn grommets that fail under tension. A few note it requires multiple people to install and can tear if not properly secured. Despite durability concerns, most consider it a worthwhile value.

Would Not RecommendI bought a Blue Hawk 30x50 polyethylene tarp. It cost $120.00.It is a cheaply made tarp.It rips very easily and was missing grommets right out of the package. If I didn't need it that night to protect a construction project from the rain I would have returned it. What a piece of junk.

Tarp like a kite
Would RecommendI put this tarp over the entire back of my house to protect the roof while waiting for repairs. It acted like a kite when a breeze came up and the grommets were obviously not going to hold. So I tossed a rope over it in four places and secured them to the eves. That cured the problem of acting like a kite but it doesn't last very long in the sun.

Barely sufficient
Would RecommendI was grateful to find this huge tarp at a local Lowes store, to save my brother's home from water damage during his roofing project, but it was thinner than I had hoped. Even the first week, there were puncture points that caused some leakage, but it was minimal. Being able to cover the entire north side of the roof with one tarp was a great benefit.

Grommets are weak.
Would RecommendIf the grommets were a little more secure the tarp would have gotten a higher rating. If you are covering something in a windy area and are using the grommets for your tie down connections, make sure you aren't in a windy location. The grommets won't hold in a stiff wind.

Come on, it's a tarp for crying out loud.
Would RecommendIt didn't leak and I was able to fold it up when I was done so it worked. You're probably not going to get to use this 100 times or anything like that, but to cover an open roof in the rain it works pretty darn well.
