Built exactly like 1 q paint cans pre-filled but I was able to get paint from my apartments to house in it for touch-ups from moving pictures around on the walls easy to take the lid off and easy to put back on dropped it twice and it did not pop open this is a very good product after I'm done with paint in it I'll probably use it to house other items

Lid's rim is thin metal - deforms when opening
Would Not RecommendIn addition to being overpriced this can has a poorly constructed and thin rim for the top. The first time I used an appropriate paint can opener the edge began to uncurl and the opener could not grip it. Now the second time I opened it, the edge deformed to the point that I had to use pliers to remove the lid.
Great option for saving paint.
