Would RecommendThis kit was easy to install as the original lamp on/off switch was not functioning correctly. It was also priced accordingly. My only vice would be that Lowe’s should stock additional items because I had to go online and order parts from an online lamp parts store.

need better diagram/directions
I bought this because I think it is the answer for which I have searched to repair my husbands' antique lamp inherited from his grandmother. After reading the incredibly tiny print in the "installation manual", I still think it is the right component. However, after reviewing the wiring "diagram", I am almost afraid to proceed. Nothing about it is clear. I have rewired and built and rebuilt many lamps but not a dual light fixture. Finding the online PDF file helped in that I can actually see...

Would RecommendWould have helpded to have better instructions as I had to take socket apart to access connectors. I was not sure I had not broken the socket, but it went back together OK.

Would RecommendEasy to install. inexpensive. used in an old lamp that the old lamp socket was not working. Much cheaper than having to throw old lamp away and finding a new one to replace it.
