Surface cover deteriorates easily

The padding itself is adequate for protection. I've just used it to cover furniture when moving. The big problem is the blue outer layer, which seems to be paper with texture, rather than a woven fabric. It has deteriorated completely after 6-9 months sitting in my car, exposed to whatever sunlight comes in the windows. I have tiny blue flakes of this outer material all over my car.

Just like the professional movers use

This is just like the pads that your professional movers use. Thick, soft. Does the job well.

Expensive for Disposable Pad

Cheap, nasty, synthetic fabric. Tore on first use. The factory that makes these may use cotton somewhere in the plant, but not in this department. They may be useful for some purposes, but protecting furniture while moving is not one of them.

Very thin.

This is nothing like a moving blanket. Its more like a sheet.

Low quality, High price moving blankets.

These look like high quality moving blankets in the plastic wrapper, but when opened and used the outer fabric paper-like rather than like fabric. It actually tears when standard moving tape is removed. These are not durable. U-Haul's moving blankets are actually provide more cushion at a fraction of the price.

Bad pricing.

Amazon has VERY similar quality moving blankets - 12 for $70. You can’t even wash these Blue Hawk ones at 1 for $20. What is Lowe’s smoking?

Expect to use it for one-time use

Material is extemely prone to tearing and defitniely not worth the price. I dont understand how this product can cost so much and be built like something disposable.

Heavy Blanket, used as discribed in the title

Pretty expensive for what it does, would be better off picking up a few 2nd hand or at a discount store. For the price I paid they did a great job padding my purchases. However for the price I would've expected them to hold up to a beating a bit more than they did. Shortly after bringing them home they tore on my stove when unloading.
