Would Not RecommendBought to replace a kitchen ceiling light. One reason it didn't have a ballets and one could change bulbs easily without removing a glass shade that screwed on. I didn't realize that the shades weren't the best, they are solid and don't allow light to shine like a glass one would have. Put in DAY Light LED Bulbs that shine brighter and adjusted to main areas in kitchen needing the most light. Works better with this type of bulb.
