perfect for the price.

Look. Your not gonna use this at a job site thats for sure. But for a diy project. Its oerfecr. I used it for dressing up my old doors with some trim. Worked out geeat. Pefect 45 degree cuts. I will probably use it a few more times and toss it out and buy a new one. It was $11. Cant complain about the price. Just buy it , us it , abuse it and toss it out.

Terrible

I got this so I could make quick, square cuts on small sections of poplar or small diameter pvc pipes without getting out a miter saw or something more powerful. I wasn't expecting anything incredible but I didn't think it would be this terrible. First of all, I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I couldn't get this thing to cut a freaking right angle. It was always off. And after only about 5 cuts I noticed I was getting a lot of yellow mixed in with the sawdust or white PVC dust, and now ever...

Mitre saw

This is definitely a woman's tool! Cheap, and extremely helpful! I didn't know what kind of a saw to use to mitre tiny little wood framing, but this was just perfect! Easy to use!

FOR SIMPLE STUFF

Need the cuts to be straight. Small simple stuff. I would consider it fragile cause I bent the first one I bought. So careful how you use the saw. its Cheap and does simple stuff.

Seriously, buy a metal one. This thing is good for 2-3 cuts and it’s done. Waste of $10.

If it's arm day at the gym you could just stay home and try to cut something with this. Take a zanax first though, maybe wash it down with some tequila because you will need it to mitigate the stress you will experience using this "tool". Seriously, spend a little more money and get something better than this ugly plastic shelf decoration.

Good enough for small projects

I'm sure carpenters would scoff at this, but I'm not a carpenter and only need it for a handful of small projects around the house. I didn't want to spend a lot, so this was perfect. I'm happy with the quality and price for my needs.

Professional Looking Chair Rail

For smaller trim I held the trim in the miter box on a table top, and for the chair rail I attached the miter box to my deck to keep the box steady turning the cut.

Not worth the Hassle

The saw doesn’t cut through shoe base as promised.

Did the Job

I had a small job to do with very small pieces of molding. This saw & miter box worked fine. If you have a big job to do, or have heavier molding to cut, You might want to invest in something a little better in quality. For my project, this product was good and the price was right.

Victor sold me this for a great deal and showed me how easy i could cut my molding with this miter box instead of buying a 300$ miter saw!

Uneven cuts

Uneven cut all the time plus saw cuts the miter box spend 30$ more and get a quality made product

Steel saw, plastic box

The teeth are splayed wide enough to hit and bite into the plastic. Good saw, piece of junk mitre box.

Don’t wast your time

Went to get the Craftsman's miter because it has the pieces to hold your wood inside securely. My Lowe’s did not have one so I settled for this piece. Wood slides everywhere unless u have a super time grip, then you’re wore out after the cut. Don’t settle like I did.
