cut well, easy to use

No good at all

No good at all none of my cuts have been straight. I’m wasting money buying more tiles taking it back to Lowe’s. No good. Do not buy this.

Works but not great

This works to score and break tile, but the parts made to square up and hold tile level are cheap flimsy plastic. The attached tile holder was more in the way than anything.

Accurate cuts

This product isn't top on the line, but I was able to cut tiles farely straight once I figured out that you have to maintain a stright down and forward push when scribing the tile. The cutter is wobbly and if you lean one way or the other while pushing gorward, you will cut a crooked line.

Does the trick for handling small jobs

It took a few cuts to get the hang of using this. I found it took quite a lot of pressure to get the scoring deep enough to ensure a clean break. And I found it best to firmly hold down the tile to prevent it from shifting once the scoring roller blade cleared the piece. That way you can quickly move the breaker bar, press down and snap the tile. I was working with 6" tile and found it best to leave the tile guide arm in place while using the breaker bar. This tile cutter was a great help for a quick job that we had to complete. It was easy to use and handle.

Able to use on smaller tiles and much smaller cuts than listed.

Cannot successfully reliably dscore and break tile

Not suitable for larger tiles

I had previously purchased the smaller version of this tile cutter and absolutely love it. I had some longer tiles i needed to cut and ruined 10 before giving up and purchasing a wet saw. Its simply doesnt work for long tiles.... it snaps them unevenly or perpendicularly at the pressure bar instead of parallel along the score line. I highly recommend the smaller version for smaller projects though!

Cut tracks to one side also cut is bowed

Two things that create inaccurate cuts - the flimsy rails and too much slop at the cutting wheel. All my cuts tracked to one side of my line towards the end of the cut. Second, the cuts were all bowed. Could have been because of the rails flexing or cutting wheel had too much side to side play. I went to a tile store the other day and saw a beefier cutter for only five dollars more.
