Not to overload, especially in older homes.
Would RecommendI needed an outlet for my Christmas garlands, but don’t have any outdoor outlets. I was able to remove the torchlight to use it. Bam!! At a a flip off the switch it’s on/off when needed! I plan on buying three more for my basement as I only have 2 usable outlets.

Would RecommendVery handy little gadget. These have been around for many decades and work great. Get 2, 2-prong receptacles and not loose your light bulb socket! Cool. The pull chain operates the on/off switch for the light socket while the receptacles are always on.
