Would Not RecommendJust a disclaimer, I was using these on a pressure treated wood for pocket fence and gate build. Had difficulties trying to put a knotch on gate for the latch mechanism. It may do better on general dry lumber???

Would RecommendThese chisels are decent enough. The tip has visible imperfections. You might want to start by sharpening them. Sure, they're not going to win any awards for quality, but they cost about a cup of coffee each, so you can't expect too much. Any other single chisel in the store costs as much as this whole set. This is a great solution for people like me who only need a chisel rarely. By the time one breaks or wears out, you'll have a better idea what you need. I need to call special attentio...
