Good connection for 14 awg wire

I bought this to replace a extension cord connector got cracked and showing bare wire I like the heavy duty construction but the thing I disliked was how the wire connected to the connector with like a t tap unlike an outlet

It fixed a defective extension cord that was not thrown away. It seemed expensive for what it did for me. I had to buy the male and female.

I bought this item about a month ago and it has performed wonderfully. Would recommend it to anyone for about anything. Might ought to take a close look if being used for a high amp wire, but I think it would do fine for high amp usage. Product was stocked in my local Lowe's and it was available. I also was able to use my Veterans dIscount to purchase it. Which made it even less expensive.

Easy Repair

I'd purchased this to repair a fairly new and long extension cord. This was a very inexpensive and simple repair. Saving me the expense of purchasing a new extension cord.

Salvage your old extension cords!

Salvaging a damaged extension cord. These work well, are sturdy and are easy enough to wire up. No reason to throw away extension cords, won't be as weather resistant as the original molded ends, but still serviceable.
