Would Not RecommendThe blades are great; sharp, well-honed, and do the job. The box cutter that holds the blade is badly designed. Instead of being a solid piece of metal behind where the razor blade goes, it is two pieces of metal folded together. When you get to cutting, especially if it's a heavy duty box, the razor blade shoves back between the two pieces of metal and you lose your blade surface and are no longer able to pull the box cutter apart to reposition the razor blade where it should be. Would RecommendTruth be told, it was less expensive to buy two of these packs than to buy a 10-pack of replacement blades only, which is what I sought. Blades are fine; never hurts to have an extra cutter or two on hand.

I was able to cut through a solid cast iron shower drain P trap like it was room temperature butter. Forget those expensive Plasma cutters this little beast is a cut above the rest. 98¢ of pure brutal destructive force.

Would RecommendMuch sharper than a regular utility blade since it uses 'real' razors. And the reviewer who complained about how difficult it is to slide the blade in and out was incorrect. It's not supposed to be 'easy' to open the blade because you really don't want these accidentally sliding open when you don't want to. These are incredibly amazing to cut whatever you need, including opening and breaking down boxes. Real razor blades are incredibly sharp so you have to be careful with this.
