They worked fine and despite having a 2x6 mounted across the top of each horse, I was able to hang both on one set of hooks. The hooks are clear coated to prevent rusting. I did have to mount a 2x8 on the wall for the hooks since my wall studs weren't in the right location and the weight is too much for drywall anchors.
