Would RecommendI love these so much that I wear them out. two house renovations with TONS of old paint scraped off of various surface types, and these have not let me down. Hint...put a small piece of duct tape over where the blade and top plastic piece meet so that paint chips don't work their way into that small gap.

Would Not RecommendWould I recommend to a friend? Not if I like them. I would tell them the reason it gets 2 stars is that it scrapes my stovetop perfectly. Scrapes my cutting board perfectly. Problem is glaring design flaw. The plastic cap has grips on the outer edges to pull it off. Unfortunately, that puts your fingers right at the edge of the ever so sharp razor blade.
