What Customers Are Saying
This spray paint has mixed reviews. Many customers found it provided good coverage and smooth application, especially for smaller projects or inexpensive painting needs. However, a significant number reported poor quality, including watery consistency, the need for multiple coats, and the paint rubbing off easily. The spray nozzle also caused issues for some users. Overall, this paint may be suitable for basic, low-cost painting, but may not be durable or high-quality enough for more demanding projects.

Good paint for simple tasks
Would RecommendI use this to paint my steel targets. Works great. Keeps the lead contact down, too.

Great value for price. Yes, other cans cover more area, but not double the area , But others are double the cost.

the strangest paint I've ever used
Would RecommendFirst off, the coverage of the paint is good. The fumes are manageable, and the finished product is acceptable. Now for the kicker. You have to wipe off the finished surface of the product, which if not, has a black loose dust on it that gets on everything. I cannot tell if it is settlement from the particles floating in the garage air or not, which should not have been a problem since I had fans sucking the fumes away from the work area. Once dry, there's a fine black powder, which once wiped o...
My Review of Project flat black paint
Would RecommendI build Iron Handrails for a living. I normally use the rust-oleum Professional Flat Black Paint for my projects. I some times use my spray gun on larger projects and the spray can on smaller projects. so on this particular job, I have 2 pairs of handrails with square pickets. one set of long and one set of short rails. I saw this cheap paint and read the specs. I was impressed with the said performance of the paint so I bought a case, I mean heck its a little over a dollar a can. so I took one ...
Good Value
Would RecommendWorks well. This type Paint does not clog the nozzle or lose pressure as some combination paint & primers do.

Crafts
Would RecommendI tried out this inexpensive spray paint on Halloween crafts. It needed a couple of coats and the smell was stronger than other spray paints I’ve used but worked great on styrofoam
Terrible spray paint
Would Not RecommendWorse spray paint I've ever used! Does not cover well. I won't waste my time trying to make this work!
Great Spray Paint
Would RecommendThis is a true flat black. Spray flow is very light but that makes it easier to control application thickness. Smoothness of finish is excellent. I have used name brand flat blacks and this one blows them away for flatness and ease of use.
Very poor coverage
Would Not RecommendI tried to use this to prime my plastic and metal miniature models and had a very poor experience. I tried 2 cans to make sure it wasn't just a bad can. After 3 coats I was still seeing lots of gaps and silver showing through. I put it aside for use on larger projects but wouldn't recommend this for anyone doing anything that requires good coverage with just a first or second coat. Note the silver still shows through in the attached photos - and this was after the 4th and final coat.
Nice price point
Would RecommendI bought this paint for painting some stencils on signs, it worked great for that, but I think I would use better paint for an actual painting project, but you can't beat the price, and the can lasted through A Lot of signs.

great waste of time.
Would Not RecommendI suppose this would work on a project where nothing could come into contact with the paint once it was dry, but every single project I've used this on, with proper preparation and use, it just scratched right off. yes I lightly sand and wipe off all the dust. I don't have problems with any other brand so I'm pretty sure this stuff just sucks. Rust-Oleum is much more expensive but at least it works as expected, so to me, the cheap stuff is a waste of time and money.

Worst coverage ever
Would Not RecommendI have tried to get this stuff to cover something, anything without any luck at all. I shake it. I apply several coats;lightly, heavily and it does not work. I was using the gloss white so maybe it is just this color. I hope it has an excuse. I am now stuck with three cans of crap.
