Would Not RecommendThis could maybe work for a young child, but the handle would probably be too long for them. My children are 4 and 7. The blade on it bent in half with what I feel would have had to be little force and the screw/ bolt that holds it together came loose very quickly on both that I bought. I will probably end up filling the space with glue to tighten it back up and tell them it has to be with easy things to dig.

Would Not RecommendGot to me in a perfectly fine box with no dents or anything. I open the box and I pull out the shovel and it looks like someone banged it with a hammer, then put it in a compactor then try to make it look like something out of an alphabet, then whacked it a few times on a brick wall.

It's not a real shovel
Would Not RecommendI thought it was just a small shovel. it's not. it's a kid's play shovel, and that's not really communicated. I don't think it would work for anything but play sand. anyways, it folded in three places within 5 minutes of using it in wet topsoil. I wasn't putting much pressure on it. At least it was only 5 bucks.
