Beware Product Date Code 0918
At least first check that both set-screws will turn easily in the threaded hole at the bottom of the bracket. Bought two of these, and in both cases the right bracket had a very poorly threaded hole. Screw turned with great effort, and after backing it out to make it fit on the mounting plate, it wouldn't turn in without stripping the head (slot at end of screw). Left bracket was just fine, like all the others of this design. This design has been made since the 1950's. It's not rocket scienc...
