Would RecommendWe were redoing standard double closets and instead of a variety of shelves and baskets (which we used in the past but which didn't maximize clothes storage), we went with double hanging bars the width of the closet with a shelf above the top bar. The thicker bars worked for us and could handle the weight of a lot of clothing. The brackets that go with these made it easy to install and get level.
