What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this grab bar for its exceptional strength and reliable grip, with most highlighting its solid stainless steel construction that supports up to 500 pounds. The peened, textured surface is consistently credited with preventing slips in wet conditions, making it ideal for elderly or disabled users. Many find installation straightforward when mounted into wall studs, and appreciate the finished look of included escutcheons. A few note that non-stud installations require separate wall anchors, and some mention the 36-inch length may need angled mounting. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it for dependable bathroom safety.

Great grab bars
Would RecommendThese are pricey but thick, solid grab bars with nice grips. They have multiple drill holes for an easy installation. It allows you to hit a stud on an angle.

Solid bars
Would RecommendThey are pricey but it’s a thick bar that should hold up over time and has a nice non-slip feature. I appreciate the multiple drill holes so you can hang it at any angle and still hit the stud. If you have backing support behind the wall, you will need to install on an angle to hit studs on 16.

The instructions say to "use a screwdriver to gently tap escutcheons loose from mounting brackets." That didn't work on either end. Ultimately I had to pry them off, which is very difficult to do without bending the edge of the escutcheon (decorative cover).

Does It's Job
Would RecommendThe sleeve that fits over the screws did not want to stay in place on the one end. That was a pain in the neck till we came up with our own way to keep it in place. Made installation more difficult. Other than that a Nice piece of hardware that does it's job.
