Would RecommendThe Blue Hawk Metal Clothesline is an excellent product. I had to restring my clothesline recently and needed something stronger than what I had and chose the plastic covered metal clothesline. Using turnbuckles to tighten, once set, the tension stays tight even under heavy loads like blankets and wet towels. Cleans nicely with a damp cloth.

Would RecommendHad purchased this long length clothesline to replace an old wire one. This product is nylon type coated and prevents any wires from contacting my hanging clothes and sheets. Line is extemely strong and can hang my wet rug during cleaning as well.

Would Not RecommendSince it is vinyl coated, I'd supposed it was a steel product. Wrong, again. It's dead-soft aluminum. Further, it's supposed to support 100 lbs. It may do that without breaking but, it will be stretched beyond use well before that load is reached. It's without doubt the poorest material I have ever seen for a clothes line.
