Would RecommendI needed to hang sheer curtains in a wide kitchen window. This rod was perfect for that project. It’s a thin metal rod, so it won’t hang a ton of weight, but it’s well made, and if you use the center support, it will hang normal weight curtains. The hanging hardware is of surprisingly good quality. I was not concerned about stripping screws. My only concern, and truthfully I nearly returned the rod, was in not understanding how to slip the rod onto the hanging bracket. Rather than a trade video...

Would Not RecommendYou have to push hard on the gold ends into the finials and it immediately peels off the cheap gold finish. By the time I take it off the brackets a few times to wash the curtains, the finish will look horrible.
